Terms and Conditions
- The letting period is from Saturday to Saturday for the Chalet and Friday to Friday for the Stable, arrival not before 4pm, departure by 10am.
- We strongly recommend buying travel insurance, in case of unforeseen events preventing you enjoying your break with us.
Bookings
- A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is to be paid within one week of the accommodation being reserved in order to secure the booking, and the balance due is to be paid 6 weeks before arrival.
- A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and you have received confirmation from us.
- Bookings made less than 42 days before your arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations
- All cancellations must be notified in writing (email) and once received we will confirm the cancellation.
- Cancellation by the guest for any reason will leave the guest liable to the full extent of the deposit paid. We will, however, endeavour to re-let the property and will refund the deposit, less banking charges, if we are successful and entirely at our discretion. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
- Cancellation within 2 weeks of the booking will leave the guest liable to the full cost of booking. We will, however, attempt to re-let the property and will refund the your payment, less banking charges, if we are successful.
- Should the property become unavailable or unsuitable for letting purposes subsequent to booking through any cause, we will cancel the booking and return any monies already paid immediately, but will not be held liable for any other loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation.
Damages
- The guest is liable for making good any damage or loss in the building during the period of let.
- The maximum number of persons occupying the property must not exceed 2 in the Stable Cottage and 4 in the Chalet, and only those listed on the booking form can occupy the property. Please be advised that no extra overnight visitors are allowed to stay at the property.
- Damages and breakages – please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss, damage or extra cleaning costs. These are to be paid for in full within 7 days of notification.
- If damage occurs and we have to cancel and/or refund subsequent bookings, we may bring a claim against you for any loss arising as a result.
Smoking, pets, electric vehicles, etc
- Pets, vaping or smoking anywhere inside the premises will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to, and any damage or extra cleaning caused will be at your expense.
- Our properties are not insured for charging electric vehicles. Any guest who attempts to charge their electric vehicle on the property will be required to leave immediately.
- Internet access is offered on the basis that it is provided for recreational and lawful use only. We can not guarantee minimum speed, unrestricted bandwidth, nor uninterrupted provision of access. We will not be liable for any form of compensation in respect of the provision or quality of internet connectivity.
Problems or complaints
- Any problem or complaint should be immediately reported to us so that we might resolve it.
- This property is privately owned and is our home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own home.
